MARY FISK-TAYLOR

For over 25 years Mary has owned a portrait business with her business partner, Jamie Hayes in Richmond, Virginia. Mary and Jamie are both incredibly committed to preserving family legacies, professionally capturing and printing portrait and milestone memories. They both believe that these fleeting moments need to be proudly displayed in family’s homes, not living digitally on phones, computers, and modern technology. Mary is passionate about teaching and sharing with other small business creatives how to maintain a profitable and sustainable studio.

Mary is of course most proud of her two amazing children, Alexandra and Jackson. Mary currently serves on the PPA Board of Directors. She holds offices and board positions for her state professional photography affiliate, Virginia PPA and serves on several philanthropic and local boards. Mary has earned her Master of Photography and Wedding Photography from PPA, is a StoryBrand Guide, Profit First Professional and has her MBA from University of Virginia. At the age of 42 Mary was named one of Virginia’s Top 40 under 40 for her leadership in the community, volunteer and charity work and her business savvy.
